Esmil has designed and built the system to treat the waste water from food grains cleaning process in order to reuse the treated water in washing process. The system consists of tubular UF membranes for removal of high level of solids and Reverse Osmosis membranes for organic matter from the grains. The pilot study was carried out to gather the comprehensive data for the system design. The plant is due to commission in February at the site in UK.
